It's a British show about this alien who's name is the Doctor, and he travels around in his TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space). He goes in the future, the past other planets and he basically saves earth from peril all the time. And he tends to travel with companions who keep him company on his journeys, and the reason he's lived so long is because he can regenerate or "reborn" into a new body everytime he's close to death.
