I had a dance competition. I got 2nd in my reel (I missed it by one freaking point!!), 2nd in my light jig, and 4th in my slip jig (missed 3rd by .25 points).

I find it very pointless, I think they should just have people tie or have tie breakers. My sisters in dance so I know what you're talking about.
