UnLoving NewbieI was kinda hoping for actual facts...so I just researched it.
My take on this is that the ICC needs to deal with Syria's insane government and get them a new leader; their government needs some rules for itself too. I don't think the U.S. should get involved because the issue doesn't concern them and that could put them at risk of other countries turning against them. I don't think countries should support the government OR the protestors. The ICC should just stop all of the violence, enforce rules, and enable human rights.
What if the ICC doesn't make a change?
Then Syria will continue to be violent and unfair until all the citizens flee and there is no one left in the country except the government and the country is so destroyed that they immigrate to somewhere they can be regular citizens or they might just turn into terrorists. A war will break out over the empty land and whichever country wins will be hated by other countries.
Did I get any of my facts wrong or anything? I just want to make sure my opinion didn't sound ignorant.... -
