but you know the song my true self right
if you don't you can look it up it's by kaito and it's a very beautiful and sad song and omg it's absolutely perfect.
it's a song about somebody who's on the edge of suicide because they're so lonely and sad and no one likes them or no one really pays attention to them, all they really have is internet friends but for them that's not enough.
but at the end of the song it says something like about them finding the person who would be able to make them live through it and be strong and all that s--- (in this case it's their own self when they manage to get like push through it or something idk)
but when this song is sung in a duet, it's like saying that the other person who's singing with them is the one who found them and is the force that helps them move on in life
