  Find someone else who enjoys fantasy. I myself make a douchy character. Even when I did try playing as a character, everyone hated me because I messed a lot of stuff up. I just wasn't interested in fitting in to a world that someone else created. So I started running the games instead. I enjoy reading fantasy books, I enjoy watching the movies, and I get my ideas for my campaign from everywhere. Mix that in with a healthy dose of improv and you have a potential for a GM.
