Google Chrome is indeed free. I have Google Chrome and use it daily. It doesn't cost any money, and I haven't seen any side affects since downloading it. You don't need any type of program to download it. None at all. So yes, it's free, yes it's safe, no side affects, no need to have anything to download it.

I think it is. No, it's perfectly fine. well atleast In my opinion. I use it on my sister's laptop and it works perfectly. The internet explorer was working up and I couldn't play any games or watch some videos. when she got google chrome I could finally do that stuff without downloading adobe flash.
