THIS IS REALLY LONG AND SHOULD GO IN SPORTS BUT I SAY
FUCK THE POLICE.
God..
Well, it was a friendly game.
Just to get to the main point quickly, they both tied at 2 goals each so it wasn't too bad..
Some of the things wrong with each team is that as usual, Mexico's team was out of it. Especially the damn goalie.. God, at times like this I wonder where the f--- Memo Ochoa and Jesus Corona are! The goalie was absolutely horrible this game. The main team guys.. They didn't do too well. They were like little Gio. Lost and confused and not really reacting.
In a general review for the entire team, they lacked creativity. Really, they did. There were so many ways they could have made the goals but they were too eager to put some thought into it. I think they best moments for Mexico was the ten minute periods after their goals and the very last part of the game where they kept stealing the ball from the Nigerians. It was pretty humorous how they did it, really.
The Nigerian team.. God, really. They did good at the beginning. But as usual because this always happens with African teams, they were way too aggressive. That set them off a lot. I remember that at one point one of the Nigerian players was dropped and a Mexican tried to help him up but the Nigerian snatched his hand and mad dogged him.. God, it was rude. 9_9 But aside from that, they weren't too bad. But after Javier Hernandez made his second goal (btw, he made both of the goals for Mexico. Wooo for Chicharito!) they became way too desperate and began shooting for goals when they were FAR from their good ranges.. It was kind of pathetic, really. They could have done better had not lost their patience.
Both teams had their weak points and.. wow. It was really frustrating.
Ooh! And today we got word on who will be eligible for Brazil's Gold Cup competitions. The teams were Spain, Italy, Japan, Tahiti, Mexico, Brazil (how sad if they weren't able to make it! haha.), and Uruguay. (I'm so happy! The Uruguayan team has really poured their hearts out into playing and they've sincerely improved. To have been announced as eligible before Argentina.. Wow. Congratulations to them!)
Sunday begins the starting week of the, rough translation, Ninety Days of Frenzy. These are the super important games as they will be determining which teams will be able to go to Brazil! Germany and the U.S.A will kick it off!
Mexico is going to have a crazy week next week. They will be playing Costa Rica, Panama, and Jamaica all in a period of five days. Good luck to El Tri!
Ahaha.. Futbol is the one thing I kinda know about. -
ima be honest...i didnt read that cuz sports bore me and i dont watch soccer
-
I put a warning that it was long and that it was of "soccer".
You didn't have to read it and I would have appreciated it more had you not bothered to even comment that you didn't read it or had you ignored it all together. -
yeah but if i had ignored you would have felt unloved...so i commented
-
It would have been better in my case because honestly it hurts more when people could care less and show no interest than when people ignore me..
-
well i read the first part then i got to the second paragrah and yeah...hey! does like mexico play against like an american team or is it all mostly spanish and european teams?
-
Sounded like not one of the best games, but like you enjoyed it anyway. I just kinda try to imagine you sitting in front of a tv watching football and stuff, screaming Mexican curses at it and stuff. x3
-
Uhmm auhmmm
Well these are international teams (so every country with a eligible team is going to compete) so if I'm getting what you're saying correctly, yes they do get to play against the U.S. But not yet and we're not sure if ever because it depends on if they make it far enough to go against each other.
You know me too well Audree. xD -
xD That would be enjoyable to see. I wouldn't even be payin attention to the game. xP
-
I get wayyyy too into the games sometimes haha. xD With every person comes their interests I guess.
-
Yeah, sports aren't the most interestin thing for me. The only time I actually devote myself is every four years for a nice Olympics competition.
-
xD Don't worry. A lot of people do that.
