My eyes were now watery, I didn't know why I had to be like this, it was like a curse, and it made most people fear me, which I didn't want, the clouds covered the moon, and it was now a bit darker, to people, it would be harder to see, but for me, it wouldn't matter, I could see well in both dark and light

I finally made it to the top of the hill. I twirled around and giggled with delight. "Freedom!" I whispered. "Freedom!"

I thought I heard something, but I wasn't really paying attention, I was really upset, and I didn't know what to do

I curled myself into a ball and rolled the rest of the way down. However, my giggling came to a stop as I lie down, staring up at two beautiful, yet equally frightening, yellow eyes.

I looked in the direction of the odd giggling, and looked into the eyes of a person, I was in shock, someone was here the whole time?! My heart beat hard inside my chest, I slowly lowered myself to the ground and was now crouching

I held my breath as the eyes stared back at me. I saw myself in those eyes, scared and lost. I slowly reached my hand out, stretching my fingers, hoping to comfort it.

I stayed really still, and hoped I wouldn't end up scaring her, it was one of those really rare chances, I didn't want to lose it

I pet its snout and slowly rose up. What I said next surprised even myself. "You're a person, aren't you?"

My pupils got a bit more narrow, and I moved away slightly, have she actually met me before or passed me once? I didn't know, but I didn't really have a way of answering

I caught my breath. "I'll take that as a yes." I said, surprised by my calm. I sat down crisscross and feld my hands in my lap. I bent my head down and fiddled with a loose thread I had found hanging off my jacket. "I'm February, Feb for short." I whispered.

I looked down at her, realized that she didnt seem to be afraid, and I wanted to be more friendly with her, I went I bit closer but was still crouching a little so I wouldn't seem as big and put my front right foot/claw on her lap

I looked up and tingled from excitement. I looked up at th ting and smiled gently. I saw his lonely, yearning eyes. I only smiled brighter. "I'm a runaway from the orphanage...that is, at least if I can escape the cops this time." I hoped I didn't scare him with the cop thing.

I made a rather quiet growl, I wanted to help her escape, but I knew she might of not understood, I was more calm now

I tilted my head. "Are you alone here?" I remembered he couldn't talk. "Nod yes or no." I added.

I nodded a little, she really wasnt afraid, it made me feel just a bit better ( gtg )
