As I crawled out and started to walk off, I heard my name being called. I turned to see James. He was a few years older, so I was like a little sister to him.
"I'll walk you there" he said.
I knew there was no changing his mind, so I nodded and began to run, hearing his fast feet me and, soon, in front of me. -
*typo: fast feet behind me.

"Aerius, keep trying" my father said, I was now feeling weak, like I might faint any minute, but once again I tried, pain suddenly shot through my whole body, something was hurting me, I fell over and curled up whimpering

We arrived as I rushed to Aerius. "ARIUS!!!" I cried out.

"DON'T GET CLOSE TO HIM!" My father yelled, I could tell he was almost to the point of freaking out, he was afraid, but the pain slowly faded away, and I was still a dragon

Tears welled up in my eyes, for I couldn't bear to see Aerius in pain. I buried my face in James' shoulder.

I was afraid, I didn't want this to happen, it was my worst nightmare, I wanted to be human and not like this

James hugged me and told me Aerius would be alright, whispering nice, lovely things to me, comforting me as I tried to drown Aerius' whimpers.

I soon stopped whimpering/crying, and my eyes were closed, I just wanted to fall asleep, I was just trying to calm down, my dad was inside by now, and was maybe talking to my mom

James studied Aerius carefully. I laughed as I looked up into James' face. "What are you doing?"

I opened my eyes a minute later, and slowly got up, I was taller then both of them, and was lighter then I looked, I looked over at James, why was he here? And was he one of her friends?

James didn't seem a bit scared. He just stared up at Aerius and raised an eyebrow.

I stared back at him, and crouched a little so I wouldn't seem so tall and big

"Aerius, I take it?" James said in his British accent that made me giggle almost every time he spoke.

I tilted my head, he was talking in a weird way, February was giggling a little, I wasn't able to answer him
