Scene 1- Abby's House, Dusk
Abby James, 12, has just come back home from a Girl's Afternoon with her friends. She comes back to a room with the stench of wine in the air. Laughing can be heard from a room to her right.
Abby:
(Frowning)
And this is what I get for leaving Mom alone...
Abby drops her back onto the ground next to the door and starts off towards her room as a voice yells out.
James:
Hey, Christy, your pretty daughter's back from hell!
More laughing. Abby ignores it and enters her room, slamming the door.
Abby:
Dad, why'd you leave? Arrgh...some hell I entered. -
