  Yet the subtitle functions as useless when you enter the thread. Making an imaginary subtitle which is still projected in your mind when you enter the thread...

  Exactly. I always thought the subtitle didn't make a ton of sense, although you don't have to put one down.

  However since the title has a character limit the subtitle could be more in depth to get people in the thread.

  Yes, and it serves the purpose of explaining what the thread might be about, so it's not entirely useless
