She sighed. The sword was extremely unbalanced in her hand. "yeah lets just hope..." She grabbed her head.

"Ill take point, stay sharp..." I whispered, starting down the stairs with the MP40 up.

She nodded her head and winced. That man's voice... she shook her head and ignored the pain.

"You okay?" I ask halfway down, I felt some of her pain, mainly as a dull ache.

"I'm fine." She said a bit harshly. She was gritting her teeth.

"Lily?" I ask, concerned now.

" I said I'm fine lets just keep going." She gave him a look. She didn't want him to worry about her right now.

"Okay," I say, knowing something was wrong, and I knew how she felt. I advance down the stairs to the bottom stairs.

She used the sword a bit like a cane and followed after him quietly.

I turn the corner and dump the rest of my magazine into a vamp there, before I can reload, one charges me from behind.

Lily turned around and sliced the vampire inhalf. She had sweat beating down her face.

She nodded and breathed heavily. She scanned the area carefully.

I backed up, into her back so they couldnt drop between us... "we should check the library," I whisper, "its ahead of you"
