s---. I don't know about you, but I hate thinking about tornados. I saw one when I was little go right past our school a couple blocks down, tears shingles off the roof, rips branches off trees..

Get into a cellar or a room with no/the fewest windows, get away from the windows, bring many blankets and pillows to protect yourself as well as food, water, first aid kit and entertainment. Who knows how long it'll last?

Don't have any of those rooms at home, we live in a crap house because my mom's retired and I can't work so yeah, plus I've got to go to school.

then go to the bathroom, or your closet. it's small enough so it has more strength per area compared to the rest of your hourse
