Autumn stood in a pile of half-torn and partly crooked maple leaves, looking at the twilight sunset in the sky above her. Boy, am I ever lonely..Autumn would think. "Autumn, it's time to come in!" Autumn's mother called in such a noisy shout, crows would fly away from the trees. "I'm coming, Ma." Autumn called back.
(Evening)
Autumn was wrapped in a wool blanket, eating hot porridge. "I need you to take out the trash." Autumn's mother faintly grumbled. Autumn nodded and grabbed the trashcan. As she dragged it to the edge of their cornfield, where the dump truck would pick up their trash, Autumn heard bushes rustle and a large crash of thunder. "Ma, Ma!" Autumn cried out.
I know this would go in Literature, but if I would put it on Offbeat, I might get more people's attention.
So, what do you think of it? Should I continue this? -
