Jose and Daniel are getting married in two weeks. They said they finally have the money for the papers and stuff. Since Daniel is from El Salvador and isn't a resident of Mexico (and he's getting married to a citizen from there), I'm pretty sure he has to go to some Migration Institute or something. And they need witnesses, and Jose has to renew all of his papers..
I was talking to them yesterday when I went out with my mom to do the laundry. (the hair salon is in the same plaza) They were like, super excited and had all their plans ready.
It's a shame that they couldn't get married in California. :/ With Prop 8 and all.. It's a bigger shame that Mexico is ahead of the USA when it comes to gay marriage. (For those of you that don't know same-sex marriage is legal in all of Mexico.. While in the U.S, it's only a few states that allow it. One of them not being dickhole California. >:C)
Oh well, they found a way and I'm very glad for them. I'll miss them but hey, I'm sure they'll have a good time. :D
I need to make them something before they leave.. -
:D good for them~
it's really starting to get annoying. I keep on seeing these ads saying if it should be legal. I wanna vote yes but I'm a bit too young 3x guess I'll have to find someone to vote for me -
Aw. :3 I wish them the best of luck. I'm really happy for them.
I know, I'm at least lucky enough to live in a state that's recently legalized it. .3. -
@Kit Yeah. x3
It's going to become legal eventually, this is like the same thing that happened with slavery a long time ago. xP But I know how you feel. Being young sucks sometimes.
@Ana Yeah, me too. x3
Maine is amazing for legalizing it. owo I'm just hoping the other states follow. -
x3
yerp
I'd be very pleased if the other states do
