I wish she wouldn't call me that. He was going with her, whether she liked it or not. He changed as well. He'd need to meet her on the way out.

I removed every piercing and wore a simple tanktop with shorts, as always I went barefoot. Just so I could feel the sand on my feet, I quickly packed a blanket. Whether he likes it or not, I'm staying the night there. As I placed sunglasses over my eyes I exited my room.

He left his room, bumping into her. "I promise, I won't be too much of a bother. My dad said your birthday was soon, so happy birthday."

I smiled a bit, its been a while since I've heard that, I ruffled his hair and said, "Thanks Mom"

He rolled his eyes, but was smiling a little.

I looped an arm around his shoulder and ushered us out the door, I grinned when he smiled and poked his cheek, "You know you want to smile more" I sang

"Maybe," he said, shrugging. He pulled out his phone, sending his dad a quick text telling him where they'd be.

"Maybe yes", I replied, "And by the way, I'm driving"

"I don't trust you to drive us there." He looked at her.

I rolled my eyes, "Trust me for once, please?"

"Fiiiiine..." he grumbled.

Gotta go for tonight, goodnight.

"Thank you!" I said happily and quickly ran into the car and sat in the drivers seat

He sat next to her in the passenger seat. "I get to drive on the way home though, kay?"

"Well how else do you think you'll get back here?" I say, starting the engine and driving us out
