"Thanks." I say, pouring soda into a cup. I drink some soda but it spills on my pants. I laugh. I grab some napkins. We have so much fun eating lunch, we get so messy! We are literally rolling on the floor laughing. -

His lips are so soft and warm, he's such a passionate kisser. I lightly stopped kissing him. But this doesn't feel right...my father doesn't want me around these types of guys...I suddenly take off without cleaning up or finishing my food.

I don't stop or say goodbye. I end up in an empty cornfield crying. "It's so complicated!" I cry. I stumble and fall down. I keep crying.

I cry in the dirt and maple leaves. My coat gets dirty and I don't care. My life is on the line.

i took out my phone and the slip a paper i began dialing her number clearly aware i was late for the next class already but not caring at all. the phone rang and rang and then..

My phone rings. I'm too sad to answer. I mumble to myself, "It's just Riley..." I look at my phone. Stare at it for a while, and just make the message send to voicemail. I put my phone in my coat pocket and rest my head in the maple leaves.

"Why won't you let me date who I want, dad!?" I scream. My voice echos for miles and miles.

no answer. i look at the food that we once shared wishing that i hadnt taken the risk what had i done. i got up without really thinking and got on my bike i drove and drove until i spotted her in the cornfeild.

I open my eyes and see Riley. "What...?" I mumble.
