Well, me and this one other girl. But I'm the only one who actually pays attention.
It's sad that these kids at my school are so religious they refuse to even listen to evolution.
No. We did not come from monkeys, but Chimps may be our cousins, descended from the same ancestor. -
That is sad.
-
It pisses me off when they argue with the teacher. I'm just sitting there like 'shut the f--- up I want to learn'.
-
Same with me. But teachers at my school avoid teaching stuff that goes against their religion or whatever. It's rather annoying.
-
"Genes are the key" Sabasian Shaw. Teaching evalution to creationists is pointless
-
My teacher before she even started she said "If your religious and don't believe in evolution you better leave now before you get offended" I don't know why but I found that funny.
-
Most my teacher's are like that too, but my Biology teacher is just plain awesome. She's the only teacher to truly speak her mind, to curse in class if needed, and to bluntly explain that even though she's a christian she sees nothing wrong with any other religion or lack there of.
-
@Lightning: Yeah..but I can always hope they learn something.
@Rock: Mine said that too!xD Then she explained that if we thought about it, evolution and religion can go hand in hand. And she was right. But the students don't listen. -
This world needs more people like that.
-
Nice. :P Yeah I guess they do.
-
it's still pointless
-
Yeah it really does. If more people were like that, I wouldn't be ashamed to be human.
-
Yep yep.
Not completely, evolution can open some religious people's eyes. -
Exactly.
-
not the ones that argue. and next time if they argue tell them "you may not want to learn but i do so shut up" because they sound as if they diserve it
