Conner screamed until his voice was hoarse and raspy. Irritated, their father left, slamming the door. Conner crawled over to where William was laying, and
held him tight, in tears. -
I was barely moving, I wished I was dead, but I wasn't even nearly dead, almost every area on my body hurt a lot, I felt Conner hold me

Conner held Williams head against his chest. "I'm..sorry..." he whispered, sobbing gently.

Conner sniffled and shook his head. "You don't deserve it." -
"Where is the phone" I weakly said

Conner gulped. "Somewhere under the bed."

I got off the bed and looked underneath it, I found the phone and dialed a number to call the police, I didn't want to end up like this anymore, and I didn't want my brother to get hurt, I wanted to get away

Conner stared at William, a little light headed.

The police soon came after I told them about my parents and the abuse

Conner stood with a police officer, showing him his many bruises.
