Maleas stalked through the forest at night, smelling the air around him carefully. -
I had woken up. It was still night time. I yawned, stretched, and got up.

He stopped, coming up to a fork in the deer paths. He sniffed the air quietly, picking up on more than just the scent of prey. Another wolf?

I walked over to a nearby lake. It wouldnt hurt to go for a swim. I walked into the water.

He started tracking the scent quickly, finding that it led him to a lake. He growled quietly, hiding in the brush a hundred yards or so away.

I heard a growl. I quickly swam back to shore and crouched down, ready to defend myself.

He watched the other wolf. Hm. He slowly made his way out of the plants. "So... how long have you lived around here?"

My body went tense as I saw the other wolf. "For as long as a can remember. My parents abandoned me near here."

He headed closer to her. He was already large for a male, but found himself dwarfing her a bit. "Shame I'm taking your home then."

"Youll do no such thing" She said. She knew the dangers of following an Unknown wolf. She didnt want it to happen again.
