US take country of the Dominican Republic and their finances because they failed to pay foreign debts - 1905
US sends troops to Cuba when a revolt threatens their government - 1906
President Taft sends marines to Nicaragua due to something threatening the US's investments in the country - 1912
President Wilson sends a fleet to Veracruz, Mexico, after US sailors were arrested during a revolution - 1914
Wilson sends troops to Mexico once again after Pancho Villa kills 19 Americans - 1916
And now you're seeing why none of us like Murica that much. It only goes on from here.
The only Latin/Central American country that completely kisses the US's ass is El Salvador. xP -

I mean, because the US totally just went ahead and killed thousands of innocent Chileans that one time, and that totally counts as "good policemen".
Then the War with Mexico that was completely pointless and had no actual good reason behind it and that caused half of Mexico to be lost to the Americans, and would later be one of the triggers for France's interest which would have then nearly wiped Mexico off the map. You know, had they not learned how to fight with f---ing sticks.
Maybe I'm just p---- because the anniversary of the end of the Mex-American war was a few days ago, but it is kinda true. -
