Autumn started crying again, shoving her face in her hands.

*Where are you?...* She suddenly began looking around,flicking her head slowly in all directions.

Chase crouched down on the ground so she wouldn't see him

Autumn crossed her arms. She was prepared to let herself fsll back.

Chase saw Autumn leaning back. "AUTUMN, WAIT NO DON'T!"

Autumn looked directly down at the spot where Chase was. She narrowed her eyes and tightly grabbed the thick branch. "C'mere."

*Why?* "Oh, you're smart. You want me to come up there, so if you fall, I wont be able to catch you. Nice try." Chase sighed.

*Because I asked you to.* "Haha. No. But thanks for the suggestion." She bit the inside of her cheeks, shaking her head.

"Hm....fine." Chase slowly climbed up the tree, and sat next to Autumn, Hugging her tight so she wont fall.

As angry and as frightened as she was, she accepted the hug. Autumn closed her eyes, and held him close.

Chase sensed her fear. *Don't be scared, please.* "There might be other killers trying to hunt you down and kill you. If I leave you, you'll have no one to protect you." He kissed her forehead gently. "That's why I can't leave."

Tears rushed to her eyes. "Well that makes me feel soooo much better!" *That's a hard command to follow....*

"I'm sorry my dear, but that's the truth....I'm here to protect you, not to kill you." He wiped away her tears with his hand. *Hard, but not impossible.*
