LMAO WHY.
So we're talking about the wars the United States had in the 1800s, and she has to give me two. So all she can come up with is the Mexican - American War. So then I say "The Spanish - American war is one."
And she's all like "Wait that's the difference between Mexicans and Spanish?"
Then I keep dying of laughter because I ask her that question repeatedly and she keeps saying "WW2? WW1?"
I dunno she's just so lost sometimes and I was just crying of laughter. xD -

She's asleep now so I'll start again tomorrow. xD She just needs to know the wars, no details. I think the problem is that when she reads it in her head, it's different from when I pronounce it for her. She knows the answers but she just can't understand the different pronunciation. x3

Ah, well I hope she has an easier time with it. x3 I'm serious, she'll more likely than not know more about American history than many adults who were born here know. xD

Hopefully, and if explaining several times doesn't work, I have my dad who can imitate a beautiful and intelligible Mexican accent for her to understand.. xD
And I hope so, because then she can use that knowledge and be all like "wut now i'm not even from here and i know moar (and to get her citizenship so she doesn't have to be paying like 200 dollars every few years) but I also hope she doesn't forget her roots. She's still a citizen to our madre patria no matter what. xP -

That would be awesome. xD My accents, damn... let's just say I can do spot on German and southern accents. xD Other things though sound so weird. Like I can do a chirpy Italian accent like Veneziano, but when I tried to do Romano's it sounded to German, and he'd probably kill me for that. xD
