I walked behind Perry, and shoved my hands into my jeans pockets. I looked around, at a seemingly normal neighborhood. I stared up ahead, at Perry, and remembered this morning...afternoon, whatever. How she seemed to know what I was thinking, about my...dream.

The girl turned with a big smile on her face. "Perry! Where have you BEEN? Nobody has seen you in school forever!" I looked down. "We have some... news." "We?" Alayna asked, puzzled.

I raised my hand, waved, and smiled nervously. I took Perry's hand with my other, and laced my fingers through hers. "I'm Michael," I held out my hand, and smiled again. "Perry's...boy...friend."

I smiled. They were such good friends. I thought about how long we've been "on the run". It couldn't have been more than a day or two. -
She smiled and jerked her head toward her house. "Come on in!" She invited. "Actually, we're kind of on the run." I muttered. Her eyes widened. "Stay as long as you want. Rowan and Aiden (her big sisters, I just changed their names xD) would mind, but they aren't here!" She smiled. She hated her sisters, as nice and bubbly as she was.
