It lives inside the fireplace. I named him Charlie. At night he sits next to me on the couch, and if I sit still, he'll stay and watch tv with me.

We used to have mice in one of our houses. At Christmas, we would hang candy canes on the fireplace...only to find them missing. One time we put some on just to watch, and we saw it slip right into the grill.
