Oceanstar: I walked through the clearing, observing ThunderClan camp. All was well, calm, and natural as a cat's Clan should be. Much calmer then it probably had been for many moons since the great battle, and my great-grandfather, Firestar's death. I do not remember him, I was not born then. But my grandmother and great-aunt, Leafpool and Squirrelflight, still live. As do Sorreltail and Brackenfur. But they all had moved to the elder's den except Squirrelflight. Our elders were now Sandstorm, Leafpool, Sorreltail and Brackenfur.

Sunstar: "What do you mean, he won't heal?!" I hissed at our medicine cat, Flamecloud. He was named for two of the greatest medicine cats of ShadowClan, Littlecloud and Flametail. Flamecloud held my gaze. "Ratscar is in the paws of StarClan. I cannot help it, Sunstar. He was old, older than a fighting warrior should be."
