I gawked at the desk, not knowing what to say.

"Yeah..."

The teacher came in and walked by Michael, her brown eyes widen.

I shrug, "if you want to leave, its fine, I wont hold it against you"

" No, I'm good, Michael." I smiled. The teacher cleared her throat.

I nod, "yes?" I ask the teacher

Ms. Barner smiled widely. "Would you like to introduce yourself?" Her eyes never left Michael's.

"to the class?" i ask, and I thought Dad was the only speech maker in the family.

She laughed like it was a joke. "Of course."

"great..." I mutter, I stand up and walk to the front of the class.

I laughed softely as he made his way to the front of the class.

"My name is Michael Ryan, and you could say I'm the new guy. Heck, I dont even know what to say..."

I laughed and Ms. Barner frowned trying to get us to stop.

"I moved here from California, I like football and basketball, and I golf. But mostly I write. Questions?"

Everyone was quiet and Ms. Barner motioned Michael to go back to his seat.
