My plots, note plot 4 is currently a prototype
1: January, Baltimore. A new student enters a school, meets a girl, and falls in love with her. Simple right? WRONG! The new kid is the son of the newly elected President of the United States, and travels around with a Secret Service detail all the time. They have to work the relationship out around this.
2: 60 years after a nuclear war. Somebody leaves a massive underground shelter to search for their missing father in the wasteland. Right after they leave the bunker, they get ambushed and nearly killed by a mutated animal. Another survivor steps in, saves them, and agrees to help them find the father and teach survival. You can throw in a love story too.
3: A nation gets invaded, it's royal family is captured. A special operation to rescue them fails when a helicopter to get all of them out crashes. One of the fighter aircraft flying top cover lands and it's back seater gets out. The king/queen makes their daughter get onboard so she can escape. She falls in love with the pilot after they escape.

I say the second one. The boy looks for his dad and the girl helps.
