Roka noticed how the gesture, and couldn't help think she was cute. He tried to ignore thoughts like that, since he'd be working with her and didn't want things to be awkward. -
Then he'd be poor, and as usual, he'd go cry. x'D But we'd have moolah!
"Take a picture. It'll last longer," he scoffed finally, trying to ignore how his cheeks were heating up. Didn't seem like he would catch on to the prank. -

"I, no, I didn't mean to..." Roka nervously ran a hand through his hair and looked away. "Sorry." So far, he was still fully conviced Kumiko was a girl.

He began to laugh. "Just a silly boy. It's okay, you're not the first to stare," Kumiko sneered.

Roka blushed softly and chuckled. "Well, not to be weird or anything, but you are very pretty."

Kumiko's entire face turned red. He quickly turned away and tried to cover it up with laughter. "Uhm.. Thank you," he finally said. He wanted to say something in return, but his mind was blank.

Roka barely noticed the blush, making him chuckle softly. "So do we open soon?"

"Yes. Everyone else should be coming in to work in a few minutes, then we can open," he nodded. He ignored the chuckling.

He nodded, leaning against the counter and boredly crossing his arms. "Sounds good then. Do customers usually come in early?"

*stalks* This is really good.

"Yeah, usually. You know, little kids heading to school that might want some candy," he explained, scowling lightly at how bored he looked.

"Right." Roka noticed the scowl, tilting his head lightly. "Something wrong?"

"Maybe if you didn't look so bored..!" he said, glaring at him.
