Roka frowned when he saw how Kumiko looked, feeling sad again. "Oh no, Kumi are you okay?"

"Of course I'd pay mind to you." He took his hand again softly. "I want you happy, Kumi." -

"I guess I am happy.. It's just not how I thought it'd be," Kumiko said, holding his hand tightly. -
"Oh, I see..." Roka felt his heart sink a bit. "Um, was I bad? Or you just didn't like it?"

"You were good. I liked it. But.." He sighed, unsure of how to explain his own feelings. "Maybe the feeling is just foreign."

He nodded, understanding. "It's okay, Kumiko. Like I said, I'm happy to wait as long as it takes for you to feel comfortable."

"I'm not worth that long.." Kumiko muttered. "You could best be off with someone else, Roka.."

"I don't want someone else, Kumi. I want you." Roka looked at him again, truthfully.

Kumiko was startled by his response. "Oh.." he whispered, feeling yet another blush come on.

"I'm sorry, I'm not trying to scary you." He looked away softly. "I'm just speaking the truth. I want to be with you, and the only way I'd leave is if you told me to. I don't want to, but whatever your wish is, I'd accept it."
