Two wolves, big and small, walk, well, actually one of the wolves was flying. The small wolf had a light grey pelt ,and the tip of the tail was a brownish red. Like amber, in a way. The bigger wolf had an odd red-orange pelt with white wings and the tail and ear tips were chalk white. Both wolves were carrying a bucket full of holy water. The small wolf was whimpering. sol! Dont we already have enough holy water? My paws are aching me. the small wolf was Maylo. The bigger wolf with wings was sol. Thing was, maylo was sols apprentice. Which meant maylo had to everything sol would command on the spot. Sol moved his head in a way a little kid would when saying no. no. grand chief lupus is dangerously ill. He needs as much holy water as he can get before he even STARTS feeling somewhat better sol grunted, in a happy kind of way a old man would when the unexpected would happen and that the old man liked it. Maylo, on the other hand, was unhappy. Like a spoiled little boy would when he didnt get what he wanted. That yeah right act. youre the one to talk sol. You dont have to walk you have your wings maylo moaned. Sol laughed. oh? You mean these things? sol suddenly flys higher into the sky right after setting his bucket down and does tricks such as spins, loops, dive bombs, and other tricks a person with average wings could do. Maylo laughs. yeah. Those things! maylo drops the little bucket full of holy water on the ground, grabs some dirt and plants, and flings it at sol playfully, completely forgetting the soar in his paws. Sol stops showing off after a while and flys down to average height. About four inches off the ground to be exact. Sol grabs his bucket back into his jaws. The last holy water puddle is just up ahead. Lets get going.
Soon after maylo and sol finish the little game they played and headed off to the last puddle of holy water, sol suddenly stops at sight of the goal they had been walking towards. Why did we stop? The last puddle is right there! Lets go! I want to get the job over with and go back to the den. Where dinner is I can imagine it all a huge plump jackalope seasoned with honey and tree syrup. And- maylo was cut short by an interruption by sol. shut it maylo! I hear voices coming from behind those trees and bushes! sol whispers into maylos ear. Maylo listens a bit closer and he hears it, half curious whos behind the bushes, other half trying to submerge the delicious image of the welcome back fantasy maylo had spoken about. so your sure plan chieftain died by holy water will roll out nice and easy? two shifty characters now fly p into the clearing. Sol can see them unlike maylo. Wings advantage. They were in the shape of a wolf, but were covered with little robes of scrap cloth. yep. And when he dies, our kind shall ruin wolf heaven and kill everyone in it. And the underworld shall rise says the other possibly wolf. They had black wings, but sol only realized that before they took of into the sky. okay. first off, I dont trust that puddle now. Maylo and sol briefly looked at the puddle of holy water. It was sordof grey and a dark blue, instead of a light sky blue. And second of all, we need to get back to the grand hall now!
A door is suddenly slammed open causing a huge boom sound to activate throughout the palace of heavens. grand chief lupus! Where is he?! We have dangerous news that MUST be announced! sol cries. Wolves in every part of the palace were now staring at sol in confusion. Maylo walks in and looks around. Calm down sol. Maylo whispers in sols amber-like ears. People may think you lost it or got rabies. Sol looks at Maylo and sighs followed by a nod. May I call a meeting in the grand hall? I have important news! sol yells, less crazy like than before. The other wolves lose their confusion looks and sigh in relief that sol, a high ranked member of wolf heaven, didnt loose his marbles. Yet, at least. Ill allow it, sol. Says a female wolf, who walks into the clearing. She was a dark black wolf with a white snout and grey on the tip of her ears, tail, and paws. thank you, alpha kasola. Says sol, bowing his head. Soon after, a small gathering of wolves meet in a room decorated with tiles with dead wolf names on them, fox heads the size of a human, and cow pelts in the middle. Each wolf had a piece of prey hunted down themselves in the mystic forest of ra. The gathering was a group of the highest ranks of wolves in wolf heaven, excluding grand chief lupus. A small but muscular wolf, shaman hescule, sands up first, after taking a bite out of his doe carcass. Why do you call us here, sol? Other than the grand chief lupus problem, everything is perfect at the moment. Says hescule, in a calm mannered sort. Right when sol is about to reply, hescule speaks again. Speaking of which, did you bring back the holy water? Grand chief lupus is getting worse than I though. We need it very soon. Sol wags his tail for a brief second. Maylo enters the grand hall, two bucket handles clamped firmly in his jaws. Maylo sets them both in front of hescule and trots off. Sol rises back up to speak. I call you here to discuss something I heard during the end of my task I heard two shady characters talk about poisoning the holy water puddle of which me and apprentice maylo were about to collect from. I wasnt able to see what they looked like, because the had patchy robes on, but they had unusual black wings. He didnt collect from the water that was poisoned though griffin, a huge muscular timber wolf who was in charge of attacks, defenses, and training a lot of the army, stood up. Honestly, sol. Do you think two wolves cold take down the angel wolf forces? Highly doubt it. Says griffin, huffing out his chest like he was the strongest wolf in the world. Griffin was a bit overconfident. Okay, VERY overconfident. But his strength and loyalty made up for it all. I think those werent the only two. I think they were just a little group of friends sol says, in a dark like way. I think I know who we are dealing with. But be warned its only a conclusion based on a jumble of clues. Says hescule, bending his neck. It pops like a soda bottle being opened by a bottle cap opener. Made you jump a bit, in surprise. Frisco, the mate of lupus, stood up. Who? If we are facing the rebels, its no threat to us. She sounded unbothered by the news being reported. Hescule starts walking out of the room. I fear the foxes of the underworld have found a way to wolf heaven
ANGEL WINGS
Part two book 1
Hi! Im sage! Live in the eastern tribe of wolf heaven. I have an odd fresh green pelt and green eyes. The pelt was like the color of the statue of liberty, but furry. I was playing with my best friend, joey. He was a black colored wolf, with white on the tips of his paws, and dark blue eyes. We were playing gato, a game where you draw twenty squares, and put a mark on them. If a person has more squares full of lines, which the max per square was ten, you won. I was winning at the moment, by a long shot, when something in the sky covers the sun. Not literally, I mean it just covered the sun, whatever it was. After a moment of adults and little kids screaming in horror, I realize this was no ordinary cloud or so. The foxes of the underworld were attacking. I bare my fangs in a way to scare off a few, but they just keep flying. I hear griffin calling out an attack. Suddenly chaos emerges. Flames shot from the foxs mouth holes obliterate whatever stands it its way. Wolves getting killed, blood everywhere I couldnt let this all happen and just stand here. I had to fight. I unseat my claws as one comes down to face me. Its moth glows red and orange like the sunset and I know hes going to kill me. I swiftly dodge it by jumping in the air, a green blur in the sky, and fall down, my paws gashing through the foxes body, killing the lost soul. A black air arise from the fox before it poofs into ash-like dust. I look back and stare at the dead f -
