"Ok, good. Hey, where did Amy go?" I say. "I think she went to sit with Zair," Hermione said. "Oh. I wouldn't sit with a Slytherin, no way no how." I said. "Me neither." Ron Harry and Ginny said in unison. "Hermione, you would?" Ginny asks, not hostile but curious.

"Maybe. Depends on who it is." "Sorry, they're just to... Slytheriny for me." Harry and I laughed. "Hey Hermione, Ginny, maybe we should go change into our school robes." i said. We all stood up. "Yeah." Ginny said, and we went to change. When we got back, the lunch trolley was at our compartment. I handed her a few galleons and said "5 chocolate frogs, one sugar quill, and one bag of Bertie Botts Ever Flavor Beans." I tossed everyone a chocolate frog, and sat down and ate my sweets.

(going back to where I left off) "Thanks, Annabeth." Harry, Hermione, and Ginny said. Ron was too busy stuffing his face. I sighed in exasperation. "Honestly, Ron. You're eating like you haven't had anything all day!" I said. "Well, I haven't." Ron said. I looked at him. "Didn't your mum pack you something?" "Well, yeah, but it's her usual, which you know I hate." I decided to ignore him. "You boys might want to get your robes on, we're nearly there." I said. Harry and Ron grabbed their robes and went to change.

Just as they got back, the train stopped and we all climbed out. When we were out of the train, Ginny and Ron went with Fred and George, so Harry, Hermione and I walked up to the castle. of course, when we got their Peeves started pelting us with water balloons. I dashed out of the hallway with Harry and Hermione at my heels. Hermione went and told Professor McGonagall about Peeves, and Harry and I sat down at the Gryffindor table together, waiting for the Sorting to begin.

I fiddled with my bracelet. It was made of glass, two snakes, one black and one green, intertwined. I walked out and followed the small kids. Soon we were at the hall.

Finally, Professor McGonagall began calling the names.

I heard my name first since I'm the transfer.I walked up and the hat was put on my head. It took 10 seconds until it yelled "Slytherin!". I was relieved and went to sit at the unoccupied part of the table.

When the new kid walked up, I gasped. "Harry! Did you hear her last name? SNAPE. That can't be a coincidence." "Yeah, but Snape isn't close to anyone, so who would her mum be?" I paused. Fair question.

I smiled slyly cause of how the griffindors talked when they heard about who my father is. I looked at my bracelet. The snakes seemed to stir before slithering off my wrist and slithering around my arms and neck. I got quite a few crazy stares.

"Maybe she was adopted?" I said. "I guess... but when has Snape shown affection to anyone but Malfoy?" We laughed. "Maybe Voldemort wants her for a recruit." I said. We went into silence and serious thought. Then Harry broke the silence. "A 14 year old? I doubt it."

I talked to my snakes. They heard what the others at griffindor said. They were a bit too close. "masa nui" I commanded the one snake to attack Potter. It was right under him, waiting for my okay.
