  Dookie and Insomniac are kick ass albums. I love the songs "Welcome to Paradise", "Basket Case", and "Brain Stew/Jaded". But overall Green Day has hung around too long. They should've ceased to exist sometime around 2002.

  @dw I agree. It's pretty much overkill now. Kind of like how Smashing Pumpkins ended in 2000, but Billy Corgan is still hanging onto it.

  I thought Siamese Dream was their best album. the others did have some inconsistencies and were a bit all over the place.

  I used to really like Green Day, but they've just been really dissappointing. I think I wouldve thought so even if I hadnt gotten into different music since then.
