Mine would 100% be any lyric from Amazon Standing Lamp by Wilbur Soot.

"I get so drunk I can barely see"
"My girl's the world, she f---s my life"

I just think about that one ex of mine... Or sometimes, just in general.

Another song that hits hard sometimes is In My Head by Derivakat. I like that it's about fighting down memories that aren't wanted (very real).

And another is Why by Derivakat. I can't really explain it but it's about how Fundy feels for Wilbur in the DreamSMP canon and I relate it a lot to my mom.

For a non-DreamSMP or non-Wilbur related one, I also relate a lot with Hansel by Sodikken (dunno if I'm spelling it right). Especially after that 3:30 mark. Wowza hits hard.

 What about everyone else?

      Alice by Peggy
 "Alice, Alice, don't you know?
 Wonderland was all a hoax
Made it up so she could cope
Madder than a hatter, Alice.... broke."
-

I'm gonna have to find that-
-

I've got a few from sodikken but the most popular one is from their song Hansel

Funny how much more you notice something that you can't see
A whole garden on flowers and my name etched on a rock
All this could've been avoided, all I wanted was to talk
Now I've been appointed, as your new king, I decree
That it's too late to start caring about me
-

      YES I love that song
-

I will forever suggest this song
 Starvation by AURORA

“Why do we have to die
For us to see the light?
 And we hunger for love
 My soul is starving
Why do we touch the knife
When we long to feel alive?
 And we hunger for love
 And my soul is starving”
-

      DANG
 Will locate that one >:0

honestly, all of ben platt's songs have amazing lyrics,
but this is my favorite song rn, so we're going with these lyrics u^u

song: ease my mind by ben platt
 you came out of nowhere,
and you cut through all the noise.
i make sense to the madness,
when i listen to your voice.

darling, only you can ease my mind.
help me leave these lonely thoughts behind.
 when they pull me under,
and i can feel my sanity start to unwind,
darling, only you can ease my mind.

he wrote the song abt an old relationship he was in with a guy who would always ease his mind whenever he was overwhelmed and stuff, and i listen to it and i'm like- please, WHERE CAN I GET THIS???

I've really like this lyric lately from End on a Loss by Harrison Boe (his songs are all kinda folk songs to listen to when you're feeling exhausted lol)

 "Who put you in charge?
Not that I could do better,
Still, at least the ending would start....

 Oh you could breathe,
 Be a human like me
Not that I could do better,
still, me and my brother agree..."

Ooooooooo why does everyone have such good music taste lol

      Talking ‘bout Bri by MegaGoneFree

“Every little-ass demand, I always hated it when she’d
Conform to everyone around her, run away just like a coward
So I took away her power, now her name is dead to me
I killed that b---- Brianna and with her body went her name
So if you see me IRL don’t call me that again
The ugly side, the part I hide, lies deep inside of me
Wait, did I say me? I’m talking about Bri”

Comme de Garcons (like the boys) by Isaac Dunbar:
"I could stretch my neck, obey command
And make my story yours to tell
You seem to know it all so well
I could shut myself up, be a man
Oh, a man who's scared to make a sound
Who goes to heaven with a frown"

All his songs have really good lyrics and a decent beat lol

      Notion by the Rare Occaisions:
"Oh, back when I was younger, was told by other youngsters
That my end will be torture beneath the Earth
'Cause I don't see what they see, when death is staring at me
I see a window, a limit, to live it, or not at all"
-

Bruno is Orange by Hop Along and Queen Ansleis

"Did you hear about that mother?
Broke her daughter's legs in two
Said 'It's too dangerous out there to walk, so
 I had to save you.'"

Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing [REBORN] by Set It Off

“Tell me how you’re sleeping easy
How you’re only thinking of yourself
 Show me how you justify
Telling all your lies like second nature
Listen, mark my words, one day
You will pay, you will pay
Karma’s gonna come collect your debt”
