Nikki_Knox NewbieHouse of Night is one of my favorite book series, other than Pretty Little Liars. I'm sorry, but Twilight is too depressing and I really dislike the fact that they ruined The vamp tradition with the shining in the sun and vegetarian vamps... PLus, Twilight doesn't have Stark! BTW: Zoey has a bit of problems, and Erik is a possesive jerk. But, don't you think the series is getting a little too long-winded?

Yeah, it totally is. Nothing hardly happens in Tempted and there's 16 books altogether.
She's just doing it for the money and enjoyment is a biproduct. -
Nikki_Knox NewbieReally, 16 books? I just finished Burned, and i thought Awakened would be the last! And it's true, nothing new really happens in Hunted in my opinion... But, the authors must be making lots of money.
BTW: Did you notice that in Marked, they made a little deal about Zoey's dad but then they never mentioned him again? MAybe they'll mention him again towards the end... -
Yeah, it's kinda badly plotted. Apparantly it only takes them a couple of months to write one book which shows you how much effort they must put into it . I hope they get better but I doubt it...
And I think it's kinda too focused on Zoey's sex life now... It's guaranteed in every book she'll either break up, have a new boyfriend, have an affair or have sex. I know it's a good part of the book (hehe) but it seems more forced now.

Nikki_Knox NewbieYour right. But, there's really no action going on right now: she gets a new boy-toy, she defeats Kalona and Neferet, they come back. There's no excitement in it anymore.
Also, Erik's kinda fading out of the series. I don't really care, though, I like Stark better.
But did you hear: they're trying to make a Marked movie. That sucks, Hollywood's gonna ruin it!
