Looking back at him, I cupped his face in my palm lovingly and wiped the remaining tears from his flushed cheeks. His eyeliner had run down to his chin aimlessly and his dyed hair matched the mess upon his face. Gundham was definitely tuckered out. Still, he smiled a weak one and reached out to me.
βWhat about that poison in your body?β I teased and began rubbing small circles on his back. βArenβt I going to experience the Hell matrix now?β
βNo, no.β His faint smile grew an ounce stronger. βYou know you are the natural antidote to my poison.β He completely pulled me closer and nestled into my chest. βPerhaps... you even cure me.β
My heart fluttered at his comment. We met eyes, only for a moment before I lured Tanaka in with a deep, loving kiss. There was nothing in the world that could begin to match the happiness I felt next to him, and for once, I knew he felt the same.
