I walked through the front door, my mind still on all the horrible things that day. Being teased in Science, nobody sitting by me at Lunch, people judging my stories before acually reading them, and the huge riot in Social Studies I'd rather not go into detail on. I sigh, walk down the hallway to my room, and stoop short. Standing there was a great, big dog. He yelped in joy, ran over to me, placed his front paws on my shoulders, and gave me great big slobbery kisses.
His name is Patches, he's less then a year old, and he's my escape from misery. -
