I hide my fears and sorrows behind a smile.
Inside I am tormented all the while.

And you no idea what i've been through.
Heartless and thoughtless is all I see.
When you smile your hollow grin and try to hide what you really feel underneath!
I WISH I COULD ESCAPE FOR JUST A WHILE.
I LOCK MYSELF TO HIDE AWAY FOR A WHILE.
Just a while.
Is that too much to ask.
I have never known for you to love me.
What holds my soul from breaking is agony.
If only for a while.

Sometimes I wonder if I barely knew you.
