So the only access I have to Internet is through a phone (please do not ask why, it is such a long story.) I have noticed two things that are semi-irritating: first, that apostrophes do not show up, which I can compensate pretty well for just by not using words with apostrophes. The second thing is that there is no available desktop mode for a mobile device, and I really do not enjoy the mobile mode.
Is anyone else having these problems? Do I need to just get over it like everything else in life, or can it be fixed? -
Assuming you have an iPhone
Settings -> General -> keyboard
And then you have to turn smart punctuation off I think?

As for whether or not there's a desktop version, there doesn't seem to be one
I always use mobile, but I got used to it after a bit
