In my area I am appalled by how expensive it is. I barely want to go to the doctor anymore because it's so expensive.
I read a story just today about a woman who was charged $4000 to "make skin to skin contact" with her newborn baby. She was also charged $800 for the doctor to give her his business card.
What's the healthcare like in your area? Is it too expensive? Is the care bad? If you live in an area with universal healthcare, what's it like? -
It's very bad. There's only a hospital about few miles from here and they don't admit without payment. Even the exteremly serious cases. People who don't have the money to treat theirselves end up taking unrecommended medications from medicine people, some end up being expired.
