i was thinking maybe the two of them could both be after a specific artifact, one with powers that could help them/their pack. so separately they arrive to this domain/dungeon type place, run into each other, and are forced to fight monsters & solve puzzles to get out
then they could fight over the artifact at the end. maybe it wasn't successful and neither of them could retrieve it, or they do get it together but they both want it, and/or it could be destroyed in their struggle/competition with each other -
Omg i love that thats perfect

ok, do you wanna remake our character sheets or just jump into it
-
I think we can just jump into it lol

Cheyenne retrieves a fragment of an ancient map from her blazer, aligning it with the view ahead. A faint smile of satisfaction graces her lips as she nods, then carefully stows the small piece of paper. The alpha casually gestures over her shoulder for her pack members to follow her, and the group swiftly makes their way down the mountain towards a cave nestled at the base of the formation. The cold on this early November morning is biting, with snow flurries in the sky starting to intensify. However, the weather is no match for her determination.
Honestly, Cheyenne didn't really anticipate much from this journey. Still, she would gladly accept any intel she could gather to outsmart her foes. Her informants claimed that a gigantic lizard-like creature called this cave its home, said to hold the "all-seeing-eye" - and defeating it would bestow the ability to glimpse into the near future. If that artifact truly existed, the boss was adamant that she needed to witness it firsthand. After all, gaining such a treasure would be an enormous advantage, meant for her hands only.
The Blood Moon pack waste no time in making their way inside the cave. Preferring modern technology to the comparatively primitive methods other wolf packs use, a few members turn on their flashlights. Cheyenne keeps her hand at her waist, straddling her pistol as she walks cautiously ahead. -
Astrid trudges through the snow cautiously, having heard of the same artifact through the grapevine. She glances down at her own fragmented map, then back at the pack which she leads. The bitter cold stung her cheeks, turning them a rosy red, yet she felt determined in providing the treasure for her pack.
Astrid was searching for this for the betterment of her pack. she could almost taste the sweet victory on her tongue that came with retrieving this said treasure. they could map out the seasons, or possibly even the weather or even predict the best strategy when it came to war and territorial disputes. She motioned for her pack to move forward, staying cautious and alert. -
The Blood Moon pack adeptly makes their way through the cave's uneven terrain, the rocks beginning to slope downwards gradually. The group advances silently in the darkness, with Cheyenne leading the way, relying on the flashlight provided by those behind her. Rain seeps through the cracks in the cave's foundation, trickling down, accompanied by the faint echoes of an occasional sniff or cough. The alpha crouches down a bit, placing her right hand on the damp stone ground to steady herself as she angles her body through a narrow passage.
"Quickly, like so." she orders, grunting as she stands up straight. Some lackeys hesitate, looking at each other, before proceeding. It takes a considerable amount of time for all the pack members to appear on the other side, and Cheyenne briefly questions whether she should have brought so many people. Towards the end, the complaints of the last few draw her attention and start to irritate her. She turns to face them, fists clenched tightly and eyes narrowed. Sensing their boss's gaze upon them, they straighten up, keeping their lips sealed tight.
"Do you have something you wish to say to me?" The woman growls lowly, daring her servants to challenge her position as their leader. She angles her chin up dominantly, letting off her scent - a spicy, earthy blend of bergamot, saffron, mahogany wood and musk. It invades the noses of those around her, who immediately bow their heads in submission. "I thought not." Cheyenne smiles wryly, giving the group a once-over before turning back around. Some pack members feel a burning desire to speak out, their pride swelling up in their throat, but they choke it down.
"Now, let's-" The boss begins to speak, though is interrupted by a loud rumble. The ground beneath them all begins to shake, and the group frantically exchange glances.
"B-boss! I think it's gonna collapse!" one cries out. -
As Astrid made their way through the cave, pack in tow, they checked the safety and stability of the cave, concerned for their footmen then they could ever be for herself. She holds her hand up in a silent command for her pack to stop moving, then squeezes through a similar, small gap. the rock feels cold against her skin, pressing in as she squeezes out the other side. She could have sworn she detected such a faint smell, distinct and unique, but brushed it off. the scent seemed too far off.
Her chosen companions watched cautiously, glancing at each other to reassure themselves in their leaders actions.
just then, the cave groaned in a rumble of rage, the ground vibrating beneath their feet. "It's collapsing!" a member of the Moonstone pack shouted, similar to Bloodstones own member desperate cry.
