Vincent paused for a moment. ‘Don’t leave me alone,’ he said quietly.

Sebastian nodded, not moving.

Vincent sat up and pat the spot next to him.

Sebastian sat next to him. "So... What do you want to do?"

‘Dunno,’ Vincent said, leaning against the headboard and staring at the wall, half-lost in his thoughts.

Sebastian followed his gaze. "What're you looking at, exactly?"

Vincent pointed at the wall.

"Why?"

‘It’s a lovely wall,’ Vincent said absentmindedly.

Sebastian stared at it for a moment. "...Why?"

‘What do you mean, “why”?’

"It just doesn't look interesting to me." Sebastian shrugged.

‘Oh. Well, it’s a very lovely wall,’ Vincent said.
