Jayden nodded. "Yes. You should."

Chester chuckled. 'Maybe.'

Jayd chuckled. "You should either call yourself beautiful more often, play pranks with me, or throw more parties."

'Unless your birthday is coming up, none of the above.'

"It... It is." Jayden said even though his birthday wasn't for another month.

Chester raised an eyebrow.

Jayd sighed, shaking his head. "Not really. But could you do one of them anyways?"

'Why?'

"Because you love me." Jayden said with a smirk.

'That's- Uh-' Chester stuttered, blushing. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. 'W-Well- Uhm- I do, but, wouldn't it be kind to strange having a party just to celebrate our love?' he asked, deciding that was a a good enough way to get out of it.

Jayd rolled his eyes. "Nope, I'm not letting you back out of this. It can just be because the treaty's being resigned or something. What's so bad about a party anyways? We don't have to invite a ton of people if that's the problem..."

'No parties,' Chester said, a little forcefully than he meant it to be, and stood up. He sighed. 'It's lunchtime. We shouldn't be late.' He turned away.

Jayd didn't know what he did other than just being stubborn. "Sorry." He said after a moment, standing up as well, walking so he could face Chester again.

Chester walked out of the library. He didn't respond to that, though acknowledged it with a nod, avoiding Jayden's gaze.

Jayden grit his teeth in annoyance at himself, following Chester. He didn't understand why Chester was so against parties but didn't bring it up, considering how upset he seemed.
