Natsuki pushed her small hands away and undid the braid. 'So,' she said, looking at Xiao.

"So..." Xiao said with a smile. "You can talk. I feel like I need the story for how that started."

'Therapy,' Natsuki murmured.
'Makes sense,' Xiao said, nodding. -
"How's Leo?" Nik asked Ming, and she shrugged.
"He seemed fine when I left." She said, smiling. -
'Good,' Natsuki said.

Nikolai smiled, squeezing Nat's hand.

'How've you been, Nikolai?' Xiao said, turning his gaze to Nik.

"I'm good." Nik said with a grin. "How about you?"

'Could be better,' Xiao chuckled. 'But I'm fine now.'

"Alright, that's good." Nikolai chuckled.

Xiao looked back at Nat. 'What've you been doing the past, what, 2, 3 months?'
'Not much,' Nat said, shrugging. -
"Apparently being able to talk, getting adopted to a new family, and going to a whole new school counts as not much." Nik chuckled.

Natsuki elbowed him playfully. 'Hush, we don't want him to know how many banks we've robbed,' she said jokingly. Xiao chuckled.

Nikolai laughed. "You just blew our cover!" He joked, covering Ming's ears.

Xiao laughed. 'Sounds like you two have been up to a lot,' he said. 'Though nothing compared to the overthrowing-the-government-related shenanigans Ming's been getting up to,' he joked.
'Ming how could you?' Natsuki laughed.
