Nikolai sat down on the empty table, fiddling with his zipper on his jacket.

Natsuki bought Nik's food and a sausage roll and hot chocolate for herself, then sat down at the table Nik had picked out

"Thanks!" Nikolai said with a smile.

'It's fine,' Natsuki said, opening the paper bag her sausage roll came in. 'It paid you back for the dinner last night.'

"You don't owe me for that." Nik laughed, grabbing his cup of coffee.

Natsuki shrugged, using the paper bag as a plate.

Nikolai grabbed his eclair and took a bite.

'I felt like I needed to,' Nat said after a pause, then took a sip from her hot chocolate.

Nik rolled his eyes, chuckling. "It's a date. You never owed me for that. It's just to show that I love you."

'Alright,' Natsuki said with a small smile. 'Still.'

Nikolai rolled his eyes again, though was smiling.

Natsuki took a bite from her sausage roll.

Nik ate his eclair and took a sip from his coffee.

'So,' Natsuki said.
