Sakura's friend left. "No you bástard." She said in a full grown woman's voice.

Devin swallowed. "Kiki!! It's not okay that you keep doing this!! I'm marrying her!!"

"Chill. I'm only here to tell you that I extended your timeframe a day longer. That's all." Sakura said. -
Devin shuddered and nodded. "O-okay. Okay." He mumbled, shaking slightly.

Sakura then fell. She was cold. Dangerously cold.

Devin caught her, and played her on the couch. He ran and grabbed blankets, heat packs, anything warm. Then he bundled Sakura up.

Sakura opened her eyes a few minutes later. "Wh-What did she say?"

"We have one more day." Devin sighed. "Meaning 5 days instead of 4." He kissed her gently and sighed again.

"Oh. Well that's good." Sakura said holding his hand.

He forced a smile and nodded. "Yeah. Yeah it is."

"What's wrong?" Sakura asked. "Because you're forcing a fake smile."

He shook his head. "I just want the demon gone. You don't deserve this."

"You're right." Sakura said. "Thanks for caring about me."

"I love you. Why shouldn't I care?" Devin asked curiously.

"I don't know. Ever since I changed no one has cared about me." Sakura said.
