Dream laughed. "Oh, so now you're the master of dad jokes, huh Gogs?"

Dream laughed harder. "It's not the worst one I've heard. But still-" He paused for a moment, and then reached for George's hand. "All jokes aside, you need a safe space. An escape."

George didn't fight against Dream taking his hand and he silent. "I don't know where I'd go."

"Well, you can always come up here. There's the beach, parks, lakes. Pretty much anywhere-" Dream whispered.

"I don't know," George said quietly. "It just seems like I'm forcing myself somewhere."

George thought for a moment. The silence and static that came into his mind made him want to cry. "Sleeping?"

Clay chuckled quietly. "I mean, maybe we could find you the world's most comfortable mattress!" He joked.

Clay smiled. "Really? That's adorable-" He was thankful that the sun had set and that George couldn't see his face, which turned a deep shade of red.
