Jasmine glared at him and ate the whole thing.

"Good girl," Rowan said, and took her plate.

"It's just fact," he calmly responded

"I'm not the good girl you think I am." Jasmine muttered.
She was lying.
Jasmine had always been a good girl all her life. -
"Oh?" Rowan said, a smirk on his face. "Would you like to prove me wrong?"

"I went to OhMyDisney without my parents permission when I was a kid...?" She said uncertainly.
It was true. She had in fact done that. -
"Is that all?" Rowan said with a small smile.

"Unfortunately, yes." Jasmine muttered.

"Well isn't that just scandalous," Rowan mocked. "Without your mother's permission? Who's ever done such a thing?!"

"Probably you." Jasmine muttered, rolling her eyes.

"My mother is dead," Rowan said as if it was the simplest thing in the world.

Jasmine gawked at him but then stared at him sympathetically.
"I'm so sorry." She mumbled.
