    Carla took the nut out of her hair and gave it back to the talking squirrel.

    "Thank you," the squirrel said. "Now if you'll excuse me, I must get on with my day."

    "That's one uppity squirrel," Natalia muttered.

    "You could have just asked!" Carla told the squirrel indignantly.

    But the squirrel was already gone.

    Natalia looked at Carla. "I've never seen that before," she said.

    "Then again, nothing about today has been normal," Carla said. "The fridge, for example."

    "Yeah, I don't know where that came from," Natalia said, walking towards it.

    "Cool," Natalia shed. She took one and started sipping it.

    "Oh my God!" Carla said, as a Natalia shed fell from the sky. "What is that?"
