The Captain said "This is the land of Terina. A mystical kingdom beyond most humans imagination. You rule it all, Princess, but despite appearances, this place is under attack. We have much to prepare for. Follow me." and he began to walk away again."
The Captain answered "They simply didn't want it." He then opened a door to a large room that was decorated with crystal chandeliers, red and purple carpets and fancy stained glass. In the center was a large throne that sat proudly. He said "This is now your throne, Princess."
Annabel immediately felt angry. Her blood boiled beneath her skin. She stopped in front of the door, glaring at him. "What makes you think I want this? I don't know anything about ruling. I'm not an adult. I'm just a teenager!"
The Captain said "Please calm down. We didn't say you would be ruling this land alone. I and the other members of the royal court will help you. The law simply demands that the royal lineage be in charge."
"Calm down?" Annabel curled her hands into fists, trying to keep herself from shouting. "I remember getting home from school, then some strange kid in armor shows up, and now you're spouting crazy information!" She shook her head. "I'm not going to calm down until I wake up. This dream is stressful."
Annabel did both of those things, but they didn't work. She groaned, stomping a foot. "Ugh! I mean, I'm just pinching my dream self at this point! Of course it's not going to wake me up." She slapped a hand over her face, sighing loudly. "Okay. I'll play along. What do I need to do, exactly?"
Markus just looked at the Captain with an expression that said "Seriously?" The Captain shrugged and said "You don't have to do anything today. Today is just guided tour for the most part. Sit on your throne. See how it feels."
Annabel noticed Markus's expression. She wanted to say something snappy about it, but she would only look like more of a brat. She reluctantly made her way over to the throne, staring at it. It was very large, and it was one of the few objects in the room. "What's the point of this? Why is a giant chair so important?"
Both the Captain and Markus looked at each other in a confused look. What kind of question was that? What monarch complains about the point of the throne? The Captain scratched his head and said "I don't understand the problem. Every king and queen has a throne, why complain about it?"
Annabel glanced at them over her shoulder. "..Right. Okay." She started to mutter to herself, though it was probably loud enough for them to hear her. "I guess you two don't know because I don't know, and dreams are limited by my knowledge.."
She turned her attention back to the throne, moving to sit in it. Annabel was much smaller than the throne. It felt rather uncomfortable, in her opinion. "Okay. I'm sitting on the throne. Now what?"
